I spent the weekend on the Oregon coast with some very kind and lovely folks. Here are some [http://www.flickr.com/photos/pollyannamedia/sets/72157602628481068/|photos] from the weekend.
Even with all the folks and fun, I had time to let the sand and water work me over. Always interesting to watch what is uncovered by actual experience. How often am I not the person someone else wants me to be? How often am I the person I want to be? Makes me think of a tideline. Just where exactly does the water end and the sand begin? Where is it safe to stand in high surf? What can be learned from the rogue waves?
